This is where AI comes in. 

By leveraging the power of artificial intelligence, businesses can streamline their content creation process and create SEO-optimized blog content that is effective at engaging and retaining their target audience. In this article, we will explore the ultimate workflow for creating SEO-optimized blog content with AI. 

We will discuss how to conduct keyword research, use AI to generate a draft of your post, review and edit your content, and publish and promote your blog post to drive traffic and conversions. Here is the ultimate workflow for creating SEO-optimized blog content with AI:

1. Identify the topic and purpose of your blog post: 

Before creating your blog post, it’s important to know what you want to write about and what you want to achieve with your post. This could include things like the main topic of your post, the target audience you want to reach, and the call-to-action you want to include.

Simply use AI tools such as blog title generators or SEO analytic tools like SEMrush to find popular blog posts for your inspiration. 

One way to identify the topic and purpose of a blog post is to look at the title and the first few sentences of the post. The title often gives a clear indication of the topic, and the first few sentences can provide insight into the purpose of the post, such as to inform, entertain, persuade, or share an opinion.

For example, the title of the blog post is “10 Surprising Facts About Unicorns,” and the first sentence reads, “Unicorns have been a source of fascination for centuries, but there is still so much we don’t know about these mythical creatures.”

In this case, the topic is unicorns, and the purpose is to entertain the reader by sharing surprising facts about them. The post might go on to share interesting and unusual information about unicorns, such as the fact that they can fly, their horns have magical healing properties, or they are only visible to those with pure hearts.

2. Conduct keyword research: 

After you have identified the topic and purpose of your blog post, the next step is to conduct keyword research to identify the keywords and phrases that are most relevant to your topic and that your target audience is likely to search for. This will help you optimize your blog post for search engines and ensure that it is more likely to be found by your target audience.

Tools you can use include keyword planner in Google Analytics and Google Trends. Or simply type in your keyword in Google search and see what comes up in the dropdown area.

Imagine that you are writing an SEO-friendly blog post about interesting facts about unicorns. 

You can start by brainstorming a list of keywords and phrases that are related to unicorns, such as “unicorn facts,” “unicorn myths,” “unicorn history,” “unicorn story,” and “unicorn magic.”

Next, you can use a keyword research tool, like keyword planner, to see which of these keywords and phrases have the highest search volume and competition level. This will help you identify which keywords and phrases are most popular and relevant to your blog post about unicorns.

For example, let’s say that your keyword research tool shows that the keyword “facts about unicorns” has a high search volume and a low competition level. This means that many people are searching for information about facts about unicorns, but there are not many other websites or blogs that are competing for this keyword. 

In this case, using the keyword “facts about unicorns” in your blog post title and throughout the post would be a good strategy to help your post rank higher in search engine results and attract more readers.

To make your post even more SEO-friendly, you can also use the keyword “facts about unicorns” in the meta title and meta description of your post.

 The meta title and meta description are the short pieces of text that appear in search engine results pages, and they are an important factor in determining how your post will rank in search engine results. By including the keyword “facts about unicorns” in the meta title and meta description, you can help search engines understand the topic and purpose of your post, and you can also give readers a clear idea of what they can expect to find in your post.

3. Use AI to generate a draft of your blog post:

OK. I understand this all sounds very technical and confusing, so below I will share with you couple of tools I use that is easy and have simple interface for people who don’t code.
