Introduction

AI-powered content generation tools are no longer an innovation in the industry.

If you’re a copywriter or a blogger, chances are that you’ve heard of ChatGPT. An open-source GPT-3 model for text generation developed by OpenAI.

It gives you answers when you ask it questions and prompt as we call it.

It works like magic.

Why Do We Need Alternatives?

However, while ChatGPT is certainly effective at generating content quickly and free (maybe not for long with the paid version at $42 dollars a month), it isn’t without its flaws: many users have experienced issues with the accuracy and reliability of their generated texts after using ChatGPT models.

In this article, we will review several alternatives to ChatGPT for those who seek a reliable alternative that can deliver better results than the open-source model.

1. Copy.ai

Copy.ai is a great alternative to ChatGPT that allows you to create content for social media, blogs, and other platforms.

No credit card is required

Copy.ai uses AI technology to help copywriters write 10 times faster than they normally could by generating content from human-written input.

It also provides copywriters with a library of pre-made templates, which makes it easier to find the right content for various topics.

This is my favorite tool to use when brainstorming my Medium articles and my blog post. It has a Blog Post Wizard that helps craft outlines and generate content in seconds. I then just need to do SEO optimization and polish the article before publishing.

It is also perfect for writing newsletters, sales pitch, and creating email templates.

Copy.ai comes with a free plan that allows generating 2000 characters, which equals generating three times the Instagram captions (each time it will generate 8 or 9 sets of captions for you to choose from).

The paid plan starts from $49 a month or $36 a month if you pay annually which will include 40,000 characters.

2. Jasper

Before Copy.ai, there’s Jasper.

Awesome AI writing tool: Jasper
Jasper, the premium version of AI writing tool. It’s a good alternative to ChatGPT

I had a friend who slaved Japser to write a book about Metaverse over ONE weekend and that book makes $3,000 a month selling on Amazon. (he said he has re-written the whole book after it was published but at least you know how powerful it is)

Jasper is an AI writing tool that uses neural networks to generate content. It has a free trial with a paid version starting from $49 a month if paid annually.

Compared with Copy.ai’s user-friendly and simple interface, there’s a little bit of a learning curve if you want to master Jasper. There’s a thing called a recipe, which is basically instructions or prompts you will need to enter in Jasper in order to receive your desired result.

If you want to try writing with Jasper, click the link to receive 10,000 words for free!

3. Quillbot

Use QuillBot to rewrite existing content to save time.

Quillbot is an AI-powered tool for paraphrasing and rewriting content.

It features paraphraser, grammar checker, citation generator, summarizer, and plagiarism checker.

Like Grammarly, it also comes with Chrome extension and even integrates with Microsoft Word which allows you to edit and rewrite the content on Word, Gmail, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other web-based social media.

You can test and try Quillbot with a free account which comes with 125 words in the Paraphraser (no credit card required).

To get the best experience, I recommend the Premium account which gives you access to unlimited words in the Paraphraser tool at $8.33 per month only!

4. Rytr.me

Rytr

Rytr.me is a natural language generation tool that can help you create content for your website. It can be used to create blog posts, articles, emails, and social media posts.

Rytr is a web-based tool that offers a free plan with 10,000 characters per month. The most affordable AI writers on the market: Generate 100k characters per month for $9/month or generate unlimited characters per month for $290 per year (with no monthly commitment).

The company seems to focus more on India market with its low price. But it’s worth trying it out!

5. Genei.io

Use Genei.io to write your thesis like a Harvard student

Genei is an AI tool for academic writing. It is a great alternative to ChatGPT if you are writing for academic purposes.

If you are a student frustrated about writing thesis and dissertation, this AI tool is for you.

Genei offers a free plan with 10,000 characters per month, which is more than enough for most students and academics.

Their pricing starts from £9.99 per month, and £4.99 per month if you are Academics.

Other ways to boost your writing

Besides AI technology, there’s other ways to boost your writing with the human brain. The first one is to ask for help from your friends and family. Ask them to edit your papers and give you feedback. The other way is to join a writing community where you can share ideas, tips and tricks with like-minded people.

If you’re looking for a writing mentor or just some extra help with your work, there are plenty of options. The first is to find someone who will help you out in the freelancer marketplace like Upwork or Fiverr. You can search for experienced writers, editors, or marketing experts who have experience in your niche and ask them if they would be interested in working together.

Fiverr

Fiverr is a popular gig-based marketplace for freelancers to sell their services. It’s an online platform for buying and selling services, and you can find everything from graphic design work to web development on there.

However, if you want something more specific — like a ghostwriter or translator — then this might not be the best choice for you because there aren’t as many options available compared to other platforms like Upwork and Freelancer.

Conclusion

It is worth trying out several different tools to find the one that suits your needs and expectations.

I hope this article has helped you to make a better decision about your next content generation tool. There are many other options available, so do not hesitate to explore them if none of these seem like the right fit for your business needs.
